Zoe shrugs:
“Wasn’t that the deal last time?”
Edgar hears distant voices as he comes to. Regaining focus, he sees Star in the doorway, soaking wet. He grumbles something about being cold when what he means is to ask if she is cold. Delirium.
“It was just a one time thing, maybe. I don’t know. Can I get a glass of water or something? My throat is a bit dry. Maybe some heat?”
After a “hurry along” from Zoe, Gill takes Star to the kitchen.
